John Little, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, at the age of 78. He was born on September 3, 1945, in Phoenix, AZ, the place he called home throughout his life.

John, known affectionately as Edward, had many passions that brought him joy. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and excitement on the waters. He also shared a deep love for sports, particularly baseball, football, and basketball. Edward enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Lakers and the 49ers.

When he wasn't engaged in his favorite hobbies, Edward could often be found indulging in his favorite foods, such as ribs, fish, and steak. He had an appreciation for the arts and had a talent for drawing, which brought him much fulfillment.

Throughout his career, Edward dedicated himself to working on the railroad, where he found both fulfillment and success. He lived by the motto, "Stay ready so you don't have to get ready," offering a glimpse into his determined and prepared mindset.

Edward was deeply cherished by his wife, Susan B, and together they embraced the joys and challenges of life. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his four daughters and one son, whose lives were touched by his love, guidance, and wisdom.

In addition to his family, Edward will be fondly remembered by friends and acquaintances who were fortunate enough to know him. His warm smile, kind heart, and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
