With broken hearts we announce the passing of John Garrett Stephany at 19. Johnny left us suddenly and is home with his Savior Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his parents, John and Kirsten Stephany, his brothers Adam (Brooke)and Seth (Jordan), 4 nieces, Amber, Rylie, Jensen and Josie and 2 nephews, Parker and Wyatt, Grandparents, Sandy Clark and Tim Kahle along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

Johnny impacted many with his kindness and love. He showed a natural leadership quality and was a relentless competitor in every sport he played. He was loved by his teammates and coaching staff during his 4 years with Seminole High Basketball.

While sports were a major part of Johnny’s life, his priority was always his family. Johnny was the baby of the family but found ways to keep up with his older brothers Adam and Seth.

He loved the Lord and was a light of kindness to all who knew him. He loved fishing, hunting, golf and basketball. His love of the outdoors was immense. Many family memories were created on fishing and hunting trips.

He will be missed by all who knew him and his passing has left a void in the lives of his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 pm on Monday October 24, 2022.
