John Eric Cook Webb, affectionately known as Cookie, was born on June 28, 1985, in Athens, TN, and passed away on October 25, 2024, in Riceville, TN. He is survived by his loving life partner of 21 years, Charles B. Cole, his mother Karen, and his sisters Tiffany and Stephanie.
John was a dedicated individual who earned his master's degree in business administration, a proud accomplishment that reflected his commitment to personal growth and education. Known for his honesty, dependability, and loyalty, he was a cherished friend to many and loved everyone around him with an open heart.
In his free time, John enjoyed engaging in his favorite hobbies, including chess and knife dart throwing. He had a particular fondness for pizza, fried chicken, and any kind of ice cream, often sharing these treats with friends and family during cozy evenings at home, where he felt most at peace. His love for music was highlighted by his favorite band, Falling in Reverse, and he found entertainment in shows like Pawn Stars and Counting Cars.
Gatlinburg, Tennessee, held a special place in John's heart, and he often dreamt of spending time in that idyllic location. He was a fan of martial arts and enjoyed movies like Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind, but what truly mattered to him was the time spent with loved ones, particularly with his best friend.
