He was highly intelligent. Borderline Genius. He really had a knack for how things operate & liked to take things apart just to see if he could put it back together . (cars, electronics, construction etc) & There was nothing he loved to more then learn anything new that he could. John could easily be described as a Jack of all trades”

John David Young, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, passed away on January 28th, 2024 in Foley Missouri.
John David Young was born on June 3rd,1959 in Saint Louis, Missouri. John attended Fort Zumwalt School from Elementary to his Junior year in High-school . He received his GED at 16 years old . John then entered our United States Military in 1976 at 17 years old, where he served 1 yr in Okinawa, Japan, and moved Washington state for a short time , then he stationed in San Diego, California for 3 years, Upon receiving his general discharge in Late 1979. He moved back home to Missouri In 1980. On June 1st 1980 he met his soon to be wife Patricia D Meyer & shorty after they moved in together as roommates they fell in love. They married on October 12, 1983 on Columbus Day. In Clayton, Missouri, His loving wife Patricia Diana Young became pregnant with their first daughter Cassandra Dawn Young who was born in March of 1987. They welcomed thier second born daughter , Patricia Diane Young Jr in March of 1990. They moved to Saint Peters Mo to start raising their two beautiful daughters Cassandra and Patricia . In 1994 , John moved his family to Foley Mo where they would spend the next 30 years building and re-building together. During this time he worked as a Self Employed Auto Mechanic & He loved the county living so much because he could play his 10 piece drum set without any noise issues. John was a very highly intelligent person, he lived for anything that could be taken apart, just so he could put it back together. He really loved his family and friends and went above and beyond for them every single day. John was definitely the jack of all trades, he could do it all. The two things John loved more than humans were his Harley Davidson and all his fur babies over the years.
John is survived by his Wife Patricia Young; Daughters Cassandra Young ; Son in Law Miquel Mitchell. And Patricia Diane Young; Son in Law Gary Burgess. Grandchildren; Kayleigh Amara Jordan and Blaze Amarie Mitchell; His Brother Michael Young; Sister Elizabeth Farr; Sister; Deborah Young Pavlou : Nephew Glenn Young; & Niece Amber-Young Burgoyne.
John was preceded in death by his Mother; Betty Young & his Father; Raymond Young Brother: Eddie Young , Brother; Raymond Young.
John David Young was the strongest and sweetest souls , and he will be missed deeply by all of his family and friends for a lifetime. Funeral services will be held at Baue Funeral Home at his Mother and Fathers Grave site off of Cave Springs in Saint Peters, Missouri. On April 20th, 2024 at 4:20 pm.
