OBITUARY
John Coleman, JR, affectionately known as "Coleman" 56, of Columbus, GA passed Friday, June 21, 2024, in Columbus. Mr. Coleman was born in Columbus, son of the late Lewis Coleman and Annie Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a member of Mt. Sanai Primitive Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine. He was preceded in death by his son, Orlando Carter and one brother, Gregory Veasley. His survivors include: his wife of 30 years, Judith Coleman; one son , Justin Coleman ; four daughters, Gabryelle Bass, Janesta Coleman, Chasity Veasley, and Rachelle Veasley, ; one brother, Jarrell (Lucy) Veasley; four sisters, Sandra (Alvin) McClendon, Shirley (Alvin) McPherson, Judy (James) Johnson and Juanita (Patron) Hoke; 22 grandchildren and a host of relatives.
