Joe Nathan Venson Sr., affectionately known as "Big Joe," was born on March 26, 1966, in Pineville, Louisiana. to the union of Freddie Venson Sr. and Maude Ladell Venson of Alexandria, Louisiana Joe departed this life on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Colfax Reunion Rehabilitation center in Colfax, Louisiana.
Big Joe was a beloved figure in his community, known for his warm spirit, generosity, and ability to bring people together. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and unwavering support. Joe accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Second New Life Baptist Church in Alexandria Louisiana Joe was a loving and care father to his son Joe Nathan Venson Jr "Lil Joe" that was born on November 6, 2000 Joe Married Lakeya Green Venson on July 7, 2000 to this union he became devoted father to Lakeya three kids Toddarious Green Sucoya Green Walters and Ja'Torie Green
Joe was a "Knight In Shinning Armor" to his beloved wife Lakeya Green Venson. Joe was the life of the party when he enter a room. He had a passion for fishing when he was able to , tell jokes and making others laugh with his great sense of humor. He had special "Jewels" he would adore and admire on a daily basis, his grandkids and baby boy, Joe Venson Jr," Lil Joe", his pride and joy was his beloved wife, family, and friends that he was more acquainted with on a daily basis rather it was call or visit. If you knew Big Joe you knew exactly who he was. Joe was a family man, mechanic man, tireman also it wasnt nothing he couldn't master that he would put his hands on. He was a jack of trades. Joe left a last big mark a token of love on everyone he encountered with until he departed his life on January 3, 2025.
seen him in it is his maternal and paternal grandparents, mother Maude Ladell Venson, father Freddie Lee Venson Sr three brothers, Freddie Lee Venson Jr, Donald Ray Venson, and also David Venson
He is survived his beloved wife, sons Joe Vincent Jr (Shelley), Toddarious(Jameshiela), Ja'Torie Green and Daughtet Sucoya Green Walters(Undera) mother-in-law, Jacqueline Green, two sisters, Pearl, Vensonof Alexandria and Gail Vincenson Alexandria, and one brother, Robert Vinson Alexandria, La 12 grandkids and the host, nieces, nephew, family, and friends, by his family and a host of friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. Big Joe's laughter and presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
