Whenever he wasn't tending to his chickens, Joe enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, such as tamales and rice. He also had a deep appreciation for the music of Los Tigres del Norte and found great joy in listening to their melodies.
An early riser, Joe would often wake up at around 6 am to go for a jog. Physical activity was important to him, and he believed in taking care of his body.
