Jody Sutherland, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 4, 2024, in Charleston, SC. She was born on January 2, 1972, in Anderson, SC. Jody is survived by her loving husband, Brian Mitchell, and their children, Savannah Samuel, Destiny Rooney Blane Williams, Summer Russell, as well as a host of grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Jody had a passion for fishing and cherished spending time with her family. She adored being surrounded by loved ones and treasured every moment together. Her favorite food was seafood, and she enjoyed indulging in this culinary delight.

Professionally, Jody worked at Dollar General, as a General Manager where she made valuable contributions. However, her proudest accomplishment was being a dedicated mother to her children. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, and her love for them was immeasurable.

Jody's defining personality trait was her selflessness. She possessed a compassionate and giving heart, always willing to help others. She would give the shirt off her back without hesitation.

In addition to her family, Jody was survived her brothers , Randy Yeargin , Reginald Yeargin ,and Tony Bright, She was also actively involved in the community, volunteering at the local animal shelter.

The service to honor Jody's life has yet to be established. Family and friends are invited to gather at 115 Whiteflag Dr in Anderson, SC. Please stay tuned for further service details, which will be announced at a later date.
