Jody Lee Brown, born on May 2, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Warner Robins, GA. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. Jody was married to Sarah Brown, with whom he shared a loving life together.

He is survived by his three children: Aliceson Brown, Alicia Brown, and Jody Lee Smith, as well as his son Richard Smith. Jody was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren: LaQuentine Brown, LaRosa Brown, Jamal Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Jazon Brown, Elijah Brown, Joshuea Brown, Richard Brown, Porcia Brown, Ryan Brown, Kason Brown, AyLexus Brown, and Chyna Brown, all of whom he cherished deeply.

Jody had a passion for music and enjoyed nothing more than sharing his love for seafood, with family often joking that he must have been a merman in a past life. His ability to light up a room with his humor and warmth made every gathering memorable. Jody had a special gift for making people feel valued and appreciated, always striving to bring smiles to those around him.

Though he has departed, Jody’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever treasure the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
