Jodie Lynn Bowman, lovingly known as "Boop boop," passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on December 6, 1961, in Veneta, Oregon, and resided in Cottage Grove, Oregon, at the time of his passing.
Jodie had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies, including hunting, dancing, listening to music, and having a good time! He had a particular fondness for tacos, cabbage, and soups. Jodie's most cherished moments were spent with his family, especially in the arms of his beloved wife, Brandy.
In addition to his passion for family, Jodie had a love for MMA, boxing, and football. He was known for his dedication to keeping his loved ones safe, almost like a superpower. Jodie was a painter by profession, and his proudest accomplishments were his family, including his wife Brandy, and their two children, Elijah and Josiah. He showed them what it meant to be a real man until health issues took their toll.
Jodie will be deeply missed by his sister Deanna wartenbee brothers Howard Bowman, Toby Bowman, Rob Bowman and Kevin Roberson (cousin) as well as many nieces and nephews. He touched the lives of those around him, stepping in as a loving father, husband, and friend, and leaving a lasting smile and love in their hearts.
Jodie held strong Christian beliefs, finding solace and guidance in his faith. He preceded in death his mother Charlotte Sellers, Father Harold Bowman his sister Dixie Arcridge, Brothers Johnny Bowman and Gary Bowman. Although he is no longer with us, his memory and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and impacted.
Jodie Lynn Bowman, a man who loved life to the fullest, has now been called home by the good Lord to heaven. May he rest in eternal peace.
We need help to pay for his final arrangements and bring his ashes home from Portland! We didn't expect this and had nothing set up or saved to help us get by so our lives are pretty much in the air, going up to Portland and other appointments over the last few months tapped our financial means so please help us get by over the next few weeks until we can get settled down, it's definitely a trying time and this is one of the hardest things I've ever delt with he was my everything my life!
