When it came to food, Jodie had a few favorites that brought him joy. Tacos, spaghetti, mushrooms, and oysters always put a smile on his face. He also had a deep appreciation for music, with Blake Shelton, Kane Brown, Elevation Worship, and Dan and Shay being among his favorite artists.

Jodie was a devoted father to his two children, Elijah and Josiah. He cherished his role as a dad and found true fulfillment in being with his loved ones. He would often say that there was nothing in the world more precious than being in his wife's arms, as it brought him immense comfort and happiness.
