He loved to wear jewelry, and could dress up and make any outfit look good. He was so physically fit, that when he had a stroke on 4/26/2011 it was unbelievable because he looked as if he had just stepped off a tennis court with his good physic and beautiful golden tanned skin

He moved from the azores islands in Portugal from Falmouth Massachusetts to Santa Barbara California where he attended high school and made many friends. He personality was magnetic and wherever he went he made friends.

His favorite sport was soccer. Reynaldo the Portuguese soccer star was his idol.

Even after the stroke in 2011 paralyzed his right side and he became aphasic, he continued his good nature, and he was known for blowing kisses to demonstrate affection and gratitude to others as his form of communication.
