Joanne Marie Sousa has passed away at the age of 42 unexpectedly on July 20, 2025. She is survived by her son, Samuel Sousa, her partner of 19 years, Rebecca Walker, her cousin Karen Albarran, all of Hartford, CT. her brother Thomas (TJ) Sousa and his wife Heather and thier son, Jonathan (JC) Sousa all from South Carolina, and many cousins, aunts and uncles in Massachusetts, Florida and Louisiana, and two best friends Crystal Emma of Massachusetts, and Jasmine Gonzales of New York. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph Sousa and her Mother AnneMarie (Sandy) Sousa both of Hartford CT. Joanne was a glowing light in a dark world. She always showed compassion and cared for everyone around her. She was funny and lit up any room she walked into. She always had a smile on her face and there wasn't a sad face to be found when she was around. No matter the circumstance she was always laughing and smiling. She will forever be missed dearly by all who loved her.
