Joanna E. Hasell was born in Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Antoinette Clark and Tony Spencer. On April 3rd 2024 she departed this earthly life to be with the Lord and her two brothers. Shawn, Shakim and surrounding family members.

She attend public school, I.S. 252 Somers and Wingate High School. Growing up in Brooklyn was very difficult and yet "JoJo" as many called. She always keep a smile no matter her trails and tribulations she went through.

The death of her brother helped to shape her into the strong woman she became.

She decided that she would live his life in a way that showed love, faith, guidance and humility to all. She had a large smile matched only by his large heart. If you need anything or someone to talk to he was always available. It did not matter where you were, if you needed Joanna, she was on the way.

Joanna was know for playing cards , clowning around and being a people person would give her last to people.

Joanna leaves to cherish his memory. Her mother Antoinette Clark and Father Tony Spencer, her son Antonio (Lil Tony). Her three grandchildren Quadir, Kylie, London. Her brothers William, Ashton, and Anthony. Three sisters Tyeisha, Tawana, Quanesha.

And her husband Dontez Hasell . Seven Aunts Laura, Shirley, Denise, Brenda, Sandra, Esta, Picola. Four Uncles Jefferson, Timothy, James, Ronald and Eight nephews and Eleven nieces.
