In my Mothers Younger years, she enjoyed bowling. She was a huge reader and like to knit and crochet. My mother was also a huge animal lover. Her love of New Paltz NY and all the people in that town was deep in her heart. Mommy was a simple woman, but a very funny woman. Mommy owned the drop off business at the laundromat. On Halloween, my mother dressed up as a washing machine. She was so funny. I’ll miss her wise cracks and come-backs. I love you so much Mommy💔🩷

Mommy loved seafood, mostly clams. I loved going out to eat with her. A full plate of clams put a huge smile on Mommy’s face.

JoAnn loved to make people laugh. If you knew JoAnn, you loved her! JoAnn had a way of making people feel very comfortable around her - and her funny ways. JoAnn enjoyed going out to lunch and dinner with friends and family. JoAnn spent most of her adult life in New Paltz, NY. The town she called home for over 60 years. JoAnn had many friends throughout the years. Friendships were very important to her. She also loves spending time with her granddaughter Kristina Ricci and great grandson Blake Ricci. These children lived closest to her. Many of the business owners in New Paltz were JoAnns friends. For many years, she would go from business to business to say hello and just chat. Sometimes she would be out and about for hours, just mingling with everyone. She had a zest for life! Everyone that was honored to know JoAnn will miss her to eternity🙏🩷
