Jjuan Arnez Walker, affectionately known as Peanut, was born on April 29, 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed away on October 18, 2024, in Georgia, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of joy and creativity.
Jjuan was a vibrant soul who loved to express himself through rapping and had a keen interest in math. He enjoyed a variety of foods, always ready to indulge in anything he desired. His passion for music was evident in his love for rap and slow jams, which often served as the soundtrack to his life. A devoted basketball fan, Jjuan found joy in the game and the camaraderie it brought.
Working at Wendy's was a proud achievement for Jjuan, marking his first steps into the workforce. He embraced the motto "YOLO" (You Only Live Once), reminding those around him to seize every moment and live life to the fullest.
Jjuan is survived by his biological mother, Jennetta Walker, and a close-knit family that includes his fatherly uncle and motherly aunt, Terrence (Dakeisha) Burton Sr., brothers Tyson Battle III, Timothy Diggs, Demari Ivey, and Terrence Burton Jr., and sisters LaShun Diggs, Thakeila Burton, and Lelianna Castillo. He is also remembered by his grandmothers, Joycelyn Burton and Thais (Melvin) Crawford, grandfather Russell Simpson Jr., great-grandmother Juanita Endsley, great-grandparents Russell (Patricia) Simpson Sr., and a support network of family, including God-grandmother Emma Arthur and God-mother Latoya Hall, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jjuan was actively involved in his community, attending Shady Grove Baptist Church, where he made lasting connections and friendships. His tall stature and smooth chocolate skin were matched by a warm and inviting personality that drew people in. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
