Jessica Leigh Wells, age 43, passed from this world on March 26, 2026, leaving behind a love so wide and warm that all who knew her still feel it.

Jessie was, above all else, a devoted mother. Her children, Makala Faircloth and Noah Jon Garrett, were the light of her life — and she was theirs. Whether she was cheering them on, pulling them close, or simply being present, her love for them was the kind that leaves a mark on a person forever.

She had a gift for people. Jessie could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like the most important person in the room. She had a generous heart and a genuine desire to help wherever she could — not because she had to, but because that was simply who she was.

Those who knew Jessie also knew to expect something beautiful made out of what most would overlook. She had a remarkable talent for crafting — turning ordinary materials into something extraordinary with her own two hands. And when she wasn’t crafting, she was outside, soaking in the beauty of nature, finding peace and wonder in the world around her.

At the center of Jessie’s life was her faith. Her relationship with God was not just something she believed in — it was something she lived.

She is survived by her spouse, Jeremy Garrett; her children, Makala Faircloth and Noah Jon Garrett; her mother, Linda Reeder; and her sisters, Angela Wells and Lisa Ray.

Jessie always joked that she’d “be late to her own funeral” — and even now, she leaves us smiling through our tears. She was one of a kind, and this world is quieter without her. But her laughter, her creativity, her kindness, and her faith live on in everyone she touched.

Rest easy, Jessie. You were so deeply loved.
