Jessica Kate Garcia, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 44. She was born on January 30, 1980, in Arcata, CA, and most recently resided in Reno, NV.

Jessica had a passion for various hobbies, including reading, writing poetry, and engaging in lively discussions about her children. She found solace in walking everywhere while blasting heavy metal music and enjoyed spending quality time watching movies with her loving husband. Some of her favorite bands and musical artists included Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, and Skitz Kraven.

Nothing brought Jessica more joy than being surrounded by her husband and friends. Her favorite place in the world was the tranquil Sunset Beach in Watsonville, CA. In her downtime, she indulged in watching Law & Order SVU and cherished moments spent with her loved ones.

Professionally, Jessica pursued her education in Cybersecurity, demonstrating her dedication and ambition. Her life motto, "She took one for the team," embodied her resilient and selfless nature.

Jessica married the love of her life, Rudolph Garcia, on March 18, 2015, after being together since September 7, 2012. Together, they shared a beautiful journey filled with love and companionship.

In addition to her husband, Jessica is survived by her children Baylee and Anna Maunu, and Brian Elliot. She treasured her role as a mother and leaves behind cherished memories for her children to hold onto.

Jessica is also survived by her brothers, Eric Birdwell and Anthony Graybeal. Her vivacious personality and love for laughter touched the lives of those around her.

Jessica Kate Garcia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her presence, love, and zest for life will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
