although she struggled most of her adult life with addiction, at the end of her life she rose above herself and owned up to who she had become: she knew it was too late, but the time we had left she spent trying to reverse what she had done and took every blow from us as repentance. she was very strong in the end.
Jessica Holderby, born on September 24, 1974, in Pekin, IL, passed away on March 29, 2018, in Johnstown, OH. She was known for her vibrant spirit and outgoing personality. Jessica had a passion for journaling, hip hop music, and solving puzzles. She loved indulging in her favorite foods, which included Mountain Dew and the endless soups and salads at Olive Garden.
In her free time, Jessica enjoyed listening to her favorite bands and musical artists, including Lil Wayne, TI, Kelly Clarkson, 311, Maroon 5, and Guns N' Roses. She found joy in watching reality TV shows such as The Kardashians and Jersey Shore. Jessica had a fondness for football, although she admitted not fully understanding the rules of the game.
Despite the struggles she faced throughout her life, Jessica always made the most of every moment. She loved making others laugh and starting lively conversations. Her quick wit and lively personality made her the life of every party she attended.
One of Jessica's proudest accomplishments was her journey towards personal growth. Although she battled addiction for much of her adult life, towards the end, she found the strength to confront her past and make amends. She took responsibility for her actions, hoping to reverse the harm she had caused. Jessica's determination and resilience in the face of adversity were truly inspiring.
Jessica is survived by her children Dylan, Dustin, and Wanda. She also leaves behind her parents and her friend Donna, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Jessica's bipolar and schizophrenic nature did not overshadow her loving and empathetic qualities, which touched the lives of those around her.
She was actively involved in Narcotics Anonymous, striving to help others struggling with addiction. Jessica's impact on the lives of others was undeniable. Whether loved or disliked, her vivacious presence always sparked conversations.
In reflecting on her life, Jessica once said, "Marry rich or die poor and alone." While she may have had her share of ups and downs, she had a way of reminding us to follow our hearts and find happiness, even if it meant having less material wealth.
Jessica Holderby will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and her determination to make the most of every moment. As we say our final goodbyes, may we remember her with love and cherish the memories we shared.
