Jerry Daniel Reeves II, lovingly known as JD, passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 40. He was born on November 23, 1983, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and most recently resided in Hamilton, Ohio.
Jerry was an accomplished car salesman for most of his life and had a knack for working on cars in his spare time, a hobby that brought him immense joy. He found solace and peace whenever he was near water blaring his country music, as it provided him with the perfect opportunity to indulge in his favorite activity - fishing.
While Jerry sadly faced struggles with addiction throughout his life preventing him from reaching his full potential, his true passion and greatest source of happiness were his children and Grand daughter. Jerry didn't want to be defined by his addictions and mistakes. He wanted nothing more than to be a good dad and grandpa and someone his children could be proud of. He was an adoring father to Jerry Reeves III, Joey Reeves, Jacob Reeves, Nevaeh Stevens, Ethan Wade, Edward Wade, and Eric Wade. Their love and happiness meant everything to him.
Jerry will be remembered for his infectious and humorous spirit. He had a natural ability to crack jokes and make everyone around him laugh. He approached life with an open heart, always treating strangers like friends.
His proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and his beloved granddaughter. Jerry's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable, leaving a legacy filled with love laughter and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Cathy, sister Angela, children Jerry (JD), Joey, Jacob Nevaeh, Grand Daughter Baylee and his entire family and friends.
In honoring Jerry's life, let us remember the joy he brought, the laughter he shared, and the love he had for his children, grand daughter and those around him. May he find eternal peace, with no more suffering earth-side forever fishing in the tranquil waters of our memories.
We'll plant real trees for you in Jerry's memory and display your contribution forever.
