Jerrad Allen Martin, 51, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Colorado Springs on June 3, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1973, to Jerry and Nanette Martin. Jerrad graduated from Webb City High School and attended Missouri Southern State University.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Martin, and his sons, Alexander Martin and Nikolas Martin; his grandmother, Dela Favaro; and his aunt, Valerie Claypool. He is also survived by his chosen brothers, Lance Owens and Dustin Hurrt, and his beloved fur babies, Maxine and Gwendolyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Nanette, and his sister, Amy.

Above all, Jerrad loved being a father. He cherished taking his sons camping and fishing, and watching Kansas City Chiefs games with them. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2016, where he found peace in the mountains, sunshine, and natural beauty.

Jerrad was a man of quiet faith, rooted in his Catholic upbringing. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and a deep love for animals—especially the ones who shared his home.

In accordance with his wishes, Jerrad has been cremated. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

He will be missed beyond measure.
