Jeremy Rutherford, beloved son, husband, father, and gamer extraordinaire, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Morehead, Kentucky.

Jeremy was born on September 30, 1990, to his parents Patrick Lee Rutherford and Natalie Kay Corey. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Thelma Rutherford, whom he married in 2025. Together, they were raising two beautiful children, Alivia and Wyatt.

Jeremy was known for his love of fishing and playing Xbox for hours on end. His virtual adventures were legendary, and he could always be found with a controller in hand.

Unfortunately, Jeremy struggled with addiction throughout his life, and ultimately, he lost that battle. His untimely passing serves as a stark reminder of the devastating impact of substance abuse.

Jeremy was proceeded in death by his older brother Patrick Michael Rutherford, his father Patrick Lee Rutherford, his grandparents Michael and Irene Corey, Dorothy Rutherford and many other cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones. Jeremy is survived by his wife Thelma Rutherford, his mother Natalie Rutherford, his sisters Sarah Rutherford, Bethany Bonser and Scylla Rutherford, his brother Dakota Rutherford and his two young step-children Alivia and Wyatt who he loved like his very own.

Although Jeremy may have logged off from this game we call life, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Jeremy. You leveled up to a world beyond the sky.
