Jeffery "Jeff" Dockray, 63, of Thomaston, GA, passed away peacefully at home on June 30th, 2024.

Jeff grew up in the Milton side of Jefferson Township, NJ, graduating from Jefferson Township High School in 1979. He married Kathy Merz in 1984, with only daughter Sarah arriving in 1986. In 2008, Jeff and family relocated to Lakeland, FL, and eventually Thomaston, GA in 2015.

He will best be remembered for his sense of humor (intact until the end), riding his Harley Davidson with his brothers Bill, Charlie and the Spewie Dogs, and tending to his land and chickens.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents Kermit Dockray Jr. and Cynthia Scanlan Cataldo, wife of 35 years, Kathy Merz Dockray, and sister Christina (Tina) Dockray.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah (Aaron Steinwart) and granddaughter Willa of Polk City, FL; sisters Lisa Dunn (Bill) of Wantage, NJ, Karyn DiBerardino (Frank) of Galivants Ferry, SC, and Amy Snyder (James) of West Milford, NJ; brothers Michael Huron (Jason Vidal) of Wantage, NJ and Keith Dockray (Lauren) of Randolph, NJ; and wife Kathy's extended family in New Jersey. He spent his final few years with his partner Debra Brown and her extended family, including her adult children and grandchildren.
