Jeffery Collins, known affectionately as Jeff, of Wyandotte, MI was born on September 18, 1965. He passed away on August 26, 2024.

Jeff was married to his beloved wife, Dawn Collins, and was a dedicated father to his three sons: Jeremy (Amy), Jason, and Travis (Trudy Miller). He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Nicholas Cassell, Holly Rodgers, JD (Sara) Ellis, Krissy (Dan) Haggard, Mark (Anna) Ellis, and Kelsey Norman. His favorite part of life was being the best Papa to Kylie Hatch, Jayden Collins, Landyn Norman, Alexis Collins, Baylee Collins, Bristol Collins, and Bennett Collins.

He is survived by his sister, Hattie Dutton, and his brother, Larry (Cricket) Collins. Jeff was also a beloved son-in-law to Ron Cassell and a dear brother-in-law to Lisa (Larry) Domski, Howard Cassell, and Ronnie (Debbie) Cassell. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and many friends, including his dearest friend, Mickey (Shawn) Grucella.

Jeff will be remembered for his wisdom, often sharing the mantra, "It's sometimes better to ask for forgiveness than permission." His kindness, humor, and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
