Jeannie was born to Evevlyn Porter and John Lipscomb with eight brothers and sisters. She worked over 35 years as a Certified Nurse Assistant at different hospitals in Michigan, Virginia and Texas. She retired to help support her daughters military career; traveling to 5 different states and two locations overseas. She loved shopping at Walmart and watching the cooking channel, but most of all spending time with family most importantly her grandson. Jeannie's family will remember her as a person with a giving spirit, she would give you her last dime if needed. She was always willing to help anyone regardless of who you were. Jeannie was a woman of God and she loved the Lord this is why she had a heart of gold. She is survived by her loving daughter Melody and her grandson Isaiah, her brother John and her sisters Renee, Kassandra and Susie
