Father Nathaniel Byrd Sr. (D) and (M) Jean Glenn
After high school, Jean decided to further her education and skills in cosmetology. She would successfully graduate the program becoming a licensed cosmetologist. Years later Jean would join the Military, serving in the army which she would later be honorably discharged for Uncontrollable High Blood Pressure.
Her family, each one of her children, each one of her grandchildren, loving every moment with them. She loved her brothers and sisters dearly, she loved to help others who needed it, she loved positivity, but most of all she loved to give love.
Jean was a grandmother to 3 grandchildren. Oldest grandchild Syncere Davis (son of Miean Davis) shared a birthday with his beloved grandmother. Second grandchild and first grand daughter Zoei Davis Kinnard (daughter of Miean Davis). Her last and final grandchild, granddaughter Kri’Shae Matthews ( Daughter of Marquan Matthews)
Oldest child (daughter) Miean Davis, second born (son) Marquan Matthews, (daughter) Meioni brightman, (daughter) Meilean Byrd, and youngest child (son) Marsuan McCoy- Byrd, Jean Adopted and accepted (son) Solomon Wallace as her own.
She was the third born of both parents being a loving, caregiving protector to oldest sibling and sister Stacy Byrd, also a loving, and caring sister to oldest brother Nathaniel (Nate) Byrd Jr, and baby brother David aka Khalil Sturgis
Jean was more than an average woman, she was a loving, caring step daughter to James Glenn, she was the “2nd mother” to many who loved her as such. She was the “home” to anybody who needed shelter. She was the most realist and giving woman ever. She was the “favorite cousin” to many. She was the most 1 of a kind personality an hilarious joke teller. She was truly a saint.
We'll plant real trees for you in Jean's memory and display your contribution forever.
All condolences, notes and wishes in this book of memories.
