Jayden Elijah Riley, born on January 14, 2000, in High Point, NC, passed away on August 4, 2024, in Burlington, NC. Jayden was a beloved son, cousin, entrepreneur, and friend who brought joy and inspiration to those around him.
From a young age, Jayden had a passion for basketball. He loved the sport, playing at Southwest Guilford High School, High Point Havoc AAU, Wingate Andrews, and more. He was also a fan of football and enjoyed watching and playing various sports.
Jayden had a diverse range of interests, including art, tattoos, and music. He had a keen eye for artistic expression and even started his own tattoo business based in High Point, NC. He enjoyed listening to rap and R&B music, finding inspiration in the work of various artists.
A caring and selfless individual, Jayden impacted the lives of those around him with his kindness and generosity. He had a loving and giving nature, always willing to lend a helping hand and give his last to those in need. Jayden's bright future was evident to all who knew him, and he faced any challenges with determination and resilience.
In addition to his athletic prowess and artistic talents, Jayden had a close-knit family. He is survived by his parents, Dana and Travis Riley, his middle brother James Riley IV, his youngest sister Kaylin Riley, and his oldest sister Trinity Riley. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared with Jayden.
Jayden's favorite place in the world was California, a destination he had always dreamed of visiting. He also enjoyed action movies, with "Bad Boys," "Men in Black," "John Wick," and the "Fast and Furious" series being among his favorites.
Jayden's love for others extended beyond his immediate circle, as he often extended a helping hand to those in need. Despite his premature birth, Jayden's spirit shone brightly, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
A Christian upbringing and regular attendance at church were important aspects of Jayden's life.
Though Jayden was not involved in any community organizations, charities, or social causes, his presence alone made a significant impact on those around him.
Jayden Elijah Riley will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts as a shining example of love and compassion. Rest in peace, Jayden.
