Jasper Earl Wiggins, affectionately known as "Scooter," passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on March 21, 1954, in Hampton, VA, Jasper was a beloved figure in his community, most recently residing in Greenville, NC.

Jasper was an outgoing man with a generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He had a deep love for the outdoors, often spending his free time fishing and enjoying nature. A passionate reader and a gifted poet, he found joy in expressing himself through words.

He was married to Ethel Ried-Wiggins, and together they created a loving family. Jasper is survived by his children, Charlotte Wiggins, James Wiggins, and Marie Wiggins, as well as his cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Known for his kindness and willingness to give his last, Jasper's legacy will be remembered by all who knew him.

After a fulfilling career as a truck driver, he retired ten years ago, leaving behind a wealth of stories and experiences that enriched the lives of many. Jasper Earl Wiggins will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, love, and unwavering support for his family and friends.
