BANGOR - Jason "Jay" James Sawyer, was welcomed on November 12, 1987 by his parents Walter and Jackie and his siblings who loved their younger brother unconditionally.

Jason attended Central High School and went on to find his calling in professional landscaping. He developed a passion for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary with his keen eye and creative spirit. He enjoyed creating beautiful outdoor spaces and took pride in his work.

November 23, 2024 Jason left this world, following his parents, and leaving behind his siblings and those blessed to be family through them: brother Walt, Hailey (who shared a deep bond with her uncle) Emilee, Leslie and Heather; sister Amber, Kelsey, Malcolm and Archer; brother/best friend Ray, Amanda and Conor.

Jason also left behind his greatest accomplishments and pride: Maddox (mother Alley) and Jaelynn (mother Jessica). Both always brought smiles to his face wether talking about or interacting with them.

Jason's childhood friend Jimmy and beloved friend Diane were among the many who will forever remember his kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and larger-than-life personality. Jason had a unique ability to make those around him feel special and valued, and his thoughtfulness, laughter, creativity, and love will always be remembered.
