Jason J. Herschman, born on May 10, 1970, in Bemidji, MN, passed away on December 12, 2024. He was a vibrant soul who most recently resided in Ham Lake, MN. Known affectionately as "Hersch," Jason was a jack of all trades whose outgoing personality drew people in wherever he went. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression and making friends effortlessly.
A devoted family man, Jason cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his oldest child, Samantha Herschman Rux, who is married to Derek Rux and is the proud step-grandfather to Ally Rux. He also leaves behind his youngest son, Logan Herschman. Jason's love for family was matched only by his passion for life, characterized by his loud and proud demeanor.
An avid sports enthusiast, Jason enjoyed playing softball and attending various sporting events. He had a particular fondness for rock music, with Metallica being one of his favorite bands. His love for people and ability to light up a room will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cheryl Herschman; father, Randy Herschman; and brother, Mike Herschman. His legacy of love, laughter, and connection will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Celebration of life for Jason will be as follows Service 11 AM Friday December 27th. At the address below. Food after and memories to follow at the church.
