Jason Allan Legue, known affectionately as Jay, passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 49. He was born on May 2, 1974, in Chatham, Ontario, and spent most of his life in the same community.

Jason touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. His free spirit and funny personality brought joy to those around him. He had a heart of gold and always went out of his way to make others laugh and feel loved.

Jason is survived by his siblings, Justin Legue & Crystal Crone, Tonia Legue,Jeremy Legue & Teeda Doyle, Joel Legue & Renee Church, Shayna Legue & Matt Humphrey, Brandon Legue, Shane Legue, Brittany Legue, Oren and Orien Crosby and many many more . He was predeceased by his mother, Maureen Legue, in 2021, and his father, Gordon Brown, in 2008. Jason's grandparents, Gladys and Albert Legue & Rita & Councilor Brown, also preceded him in death.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Katie, Shelbie, Gabby, and Rose, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Jason's best friend and lifelong partner, Kimberly Dutcher, also mourns his loss.

In memory of Jason, donations can be made to the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind), an organization that supports the legally blind.

Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, Jason Allan Legue left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He will be forever remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
