Janice Susan Elizabeth Kostick, age 68, passed away peacefully at St Joe’s Care Group on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Janice was born on October 12, 1955 in Calgary, Alberta. She was loved by many people. She got married to Derrick John Kostick in 1976 Until his death in 2018. She was a loving mother to her three son’s and numerous grandchildren. Her family was very important to her. We want to thank her nurses and doctors who helped make her last few weeks comfortable at St Joe’s Care Group. She was happily able to make it to her son John’s Wedding in March in her last few weeks of life.

Janice will sadly be missed by her; son’s James (Melinda), John (Tiffany), Justin (Michelle) Kostick of Thunder Bay, ON; brothers James of Edmonton, Alberta. Bill of Spruce Grove, Alberta.; sisters Judith, Cynthia and Heidi of Edmonton, Alberta. ; granddaughters Grace, Ashlee (Corey), Alexandra, Caylee, Madison Kostick and Averyanna; grandsons Tyler, Brayden, Lincoln Kostick, Brayden.Great granddaughter Violet Krejcik of Thunder Bay, ON. Survived by her aunt Phyllis of Edmonton, Alberta. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Janice was predeceased by her parents James, Edith Brydges and husband Derrick John Kostick.

As per Janice wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Janice’s name to The Canadian Cancer Society
