Janice embarked on a modest modeling career, gracing the halls of John Robert Powers' school and the establishment of Aldo's restaurant at Town and Country Village for Phyllis Fashions
Janice entered into matrimony with David H Powell in June 1965 and had two children, Matthew and Catherine
Janice worked at various retail establishments, including JC Penny, Montgomery Ward, Best, and Target, and later dedicated 11 years to her role with the Franchise Tax Board
