Janet Marie Wallace Obituary

Janet Marie (Frank / Klitzke) Wallace, of Wisconsin Dells, Age 83, passed away June 26, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at her home in Phoenix, AZ.   She is survived by daughters Dawn (Vic) Noble (Phoenix), and Dinah Hatfield (Mauston), stepchildren: Gary Wallace (Wisconsin Dells), Kathleen (Harvey) Kost, Lou Ann (Timothy) Uttke, both of South Milwaukee, Brother Donald Frank (Janesville), six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.   

She was preceded in death by parents: Willis and Eva (Bruce) Frank, husband Robert Wallace, ex-husband David Klitzke, daughters Debbie (Steve) Bock, DeeAnn (Matt) Perseno, son Duane Klitzke, brothers Harley Frank, Albert Frank and Elmer Frank.

She was a long time member of St. Peter's church, Reedsburg, and David and the girls all attended St. Peters School.   She was well known in the community, working at several restaurants including the Voyager when it first opened.   She and her husband Robert Wallace opened their own restaurant in Pacwaukee that operated until 2002.   She enjoyed reading and gardening.   She moved from the Dells to Phoenix several years ago to live with her daughter until her passing.
