DIRECTIONS
Jaime Silva, Pratt of Lowell, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, October 17 ,2022 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Puerto Rico ,on April 1. and was a son of the late Manuel Mateus Silva and his stepmother, Ilda Gabriel Cunha. His mother, the late Laura, fret passed away when he was only in his early 20s.
Jaime was raised in and Puerto Rico by his grandmother,, where he was educated, worked as a farmer, and served in the military. He married Margarita Matos and began their family in Boston, Massachusetts before relocating to Cleveland, Ohio in 1983
Jaime was a member of the Puerto Rico Center ‘The Blue’s Club’, and was a faithful Christian, and loved going to Church. He was employed as a construction manager, for many years in PR. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, going to the beach, and was a skilled cards player. He loved playing dominoes, especially supporting the family teams. Although he had many passions throughout his life, spending time with his family brought him the most happiness.
He is survived by his six children, Maria Silva and her husband,, Jose Matos , Francesca Silva of Lowell, Jamie Silva Jr , Margarita Silva from Manchester, New Hampshire,, and his youngest Marisol Silva from Hamilton, Ohio
He is also survived by two step sisters Maria and Rosa of Puerto Rico and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United States and PR. And a special thanks to Massachusetts Hospice Care.
