James Wilder, 61, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. James was born on April 7, 1965, in Oklahoma City to Helen Wilson and James Wilder.
James was a hardworking man who dedicated 25 years to Cimarron Construction, where he hauled equipment and built many lifelong friendships through his years of service. He was known for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and his larger-than-life personality.
In his free time, James enjoyed fishing, gambling, buying cars, and spending weekends watching football. He loved making memories with family and friends and was always happiest surrounded by the people he loved most.
James leaves behind his sons, Austin Wilder and Christopher Wilder; his daughter, Holley Dee; and his beloved grandchildren, Carter, Chevy, Brynlee, Carson, and many more grandchildren who brought great joy to his life.
He is also survived by his brothers, Jay, Pat, Dale, Raymond, Richard, and Wayne; his sisters, Kathy, Shirley, Linda Norman, Patricia, and Bernice; nephews Arthur, Danny, Jason, Rocky, Donny, Josh, Matt, Allen, and Ernest; nieces Tammy, Heather, and Chasity; and many great-nieces and great-nephews including Ally, Angelica, Aston, Nash, Brylee, Kashton, Preston, Kyler and Easton.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Ernest Wilder; his brother, Alan Wilder; and his daughter, Haley.
James will be remembered for his humor, his love of life, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him
