James R. Brown earned his wings on September 24, 2022 after a short, but courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. God needed him more than we did here on earth, but there will not be a moment in time that he is not missed or thought of.
James was the son of Sherman and Opal Brown, who greeted him at the gates of Heaven. James was born in Alliance, Ohio. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and was proud to be a Vet. He retired after 32 years of hard work at General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio. There was nothing more he enjoyed than traveling to Las Vegas or zipping off to the local car shows. James took pride in his show van, Moody Blue, which won 3rd place in a National tournament. You could always find James sitting in his recliner tuning into Ohio State football games.
James will be deeply missed by his son, Matthew Brown and daughter, Cassandra Brown. James also leaves behind his three wild ones, as he would happily call his grandsons. Landon, Parker and Norris now have their own special guardian angel. James leaves behind his sister, Della Wade, who will miss her sisterly/brotherly chats and visits.
We'll plant real trees for you in James's memory and display your contribution forever.
