James Randall Brinson, known affectionately as Randy, passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born on July 20, 1957, in Wallace, NC, and was a lifelong resident of the town.

Randy was a dedicated master technician for over 40 years, excelling in his craft. He had a passion for working on cars and was known for his exceptional skills in the field. His expertise and knowledge were truly unmatched.

Beyond his professional achievements, Randy found his greatest joy in his family. He cherished his wife, Susan Brinson, with whom he shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Their love was a source of strength and happiness for both of them.

Randy was a loving father to his daughter, Shannon Sykes, who brought immeasurable joy into his life. He was also a proud grandfather to his grandsons, Tyler Brinson and Zachary Brinson, and his granddaughter, Jaydn Stanley. Their presence filled his heart with love and brought him immense joy.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed watching racing, a sport he was passionate about. It brought him excitement and allowed him to indulge in his love for speed and competition.

Randy leaves behind his sister, Deborah Carter, and brother, Tracy Brinson, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

James Randall Brinson will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a skilled technician, a devoted family man, and a lover of life will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
