James Patrick Hoy, lovingly known as Pat, was born on February 21, 1955, in Munford, TN. He peacefully passed away on February 26, 2024, at his residence in Olive Branch, MS. Pat was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Ruth Hoy.

Pat dedicated many years of his life to his work at Southeast Tennessee Community College, where he made significant contributions to the institution. His commitment and passion were evident in his career achievements.

Known for his joyful and happy nature, Pat had a profound impact on the lives of those around him. He had a loving and caring demeanor, and he treated everyone with kindness and respect. One of his favorite quotes was, "Life is Life," which he lived by, cherishing each moment.

Pat's proudest accomplishments were his three grandchildren, Aidan, Ethan, and Asher Hoy. He adored them dearly and cherished every moment spent with them.

Survived by his parents, Jeremy and Heather Hoy, Pat left a lasting impression on his family and friends. His warm smile and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Pat held strong Christian beliefs and found solace in his faith. His unwavering spirituality brought him comfort and strength throughout his journey.

In honor of Pat's memory, a private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. May his soul rest in peace, and may his love and spirit continue to inspire us all.
