James Matthew Biland II known to his friends and family as Jim or JB, passed away on July 15, 2024 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola Florida at the age of 69. He was born on November 5 1954 in Chatham New York but called Pensacola his home
Jim graduated from Woodham High School in 1972 before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, he pursued further education at Florida State University, fostering a lifelong passion for Florida State Seminole football.
Jim was a dedicated employee for Raytheon Aerospace for over 20 years as an Avionics Electrician. His career was marked by a commitment to excellence and integrity, traits he carried into all aspects of his life.
Outside of his professional and military commitments, Jim was a diehard fan of Florida State football. This hobby was more than a pastime. Watching the Seminoles was a way for him to connect with friends and family each fall sharing the highs and lows of every game.
Jim was preceded in death my his mother and father James and Lula Vae Boland brother Patrick Boland and his son Brady Boland. He is survived by his brother John Boland, daughter Christina Boland, his son Allen Reed and 11 beautiful grandchildren.
His family remembers him as a dedicated father, brother, and friend, whose guidance and love will be deeply missed. Jim's legacy of strength, honor, and loyalty will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
