Commissioned as Lieutenant in U.S. Naval Reserves in 1965, served in various locations including Newport, Rhode Island, Charleston, SC, Oahu, Hawaii, and Glynco, Georgia
Met and married Margaret Heavilin in 1974
U.S. Probation Officer for U.S. Federal Courts, Southern District of Georgia, stationed in Augusta, GA and Brunswick, GA until retirement in 1992
Active member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Brunswick for 35 years, teaching R.C.I.A., serving as president of C.C.D., member of stewardship committee, usher for Vigil Masses, member of Knights of Columbus Council 1939
Two sons, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren
