James Irwin Sentell, affectionately known as Jim, was born on February 15, 1946, in Maryville, TN, and most recently resided in Hurst, TX. A true car enthusiast, Jim had a passion for hot rods and street machines that defined much of his life. He found joy not only in classic vehicles but also in the simple pleasures of life, such as enjoying fried potatoes and cornbread.

Jim had a deep appreciation for music, particularly bluegrass, classic country, and gospel, often filling his home with the sounds of his favorite artists. One of his greatest loves was taking road trips to the Smoky Mountains in the fall, where he could immerse himself in the stunning beauty of the Tennessee Mountains, his favorite place in the world.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia Sentell, with whom he shared many happy years. Jim also leaves behind his daughter, Terri Bruney, and son-in-law, Paul Bruney, along with his son, Jason Sentell, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Sentell. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Taylor McKenzie King, Alec Bruney, and Conrad Pride Sentell.

Jim was known for his jovial personality and his talent as a jokester, always ready to share a laugh and break the ice. He embodied the qualities of a friendly Southern gentleman, selfless and always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike, who cherished his warm spirit and generous heart. Jim's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
