Served in Jaycees, Toast Master’s, chaired the State Fair of Texas Livestock Auction Committee, directed the Abilene Food Bank, the Abilene Water Commission, and was President of the Plano Camp of Gideons International
Religion
Devoted Christian, taught Sunday School, served as a Deacon at Pioneer Baptist Church, Abilene TX and First Baptist Church of Plano, TX, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Allen, TX

Survived by wife, three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren
