James Fitzgerald Parks, born on January 23, 1993, in San Jose, California, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Los Banos, California the same city where he spent his life. James, affectionately known as Lil James and Jemma, was a vibrant soul who brought joy to everyone he encountered.
With a passion for bicycling and a curiosity about how things worked, James was always exploring new interests and hobbies. He loved working on cars, a pursuit that perfectly matched his profession in auto body. Known for his kindness and caring nature, he had a unique ability to make people laugh and was often described as a modern-day Dennis the Menace, bringing a playful spirit to his interactions.
James had a deep appreciation for good food, particularly BBQ and Mexican cuisine, and he enjoyed a wide array of music, embracing all genres. His favorite pastimes included watching anime and comedies, and he cherished spending time in nature, which he considered his favorite place in the world.
He is survived by his loving family, including his mother Terilyn Richardson, father James Parks, siblings Jacob Parks, Antoinette Parks, D'Auntay Parks, Kaylee Ringwood, Makayla Ringwood, D'Vaunh Upson, D'Ovah Hernandez, Julius Wilson, and his niece Christina Parks.
James lived his life with a strong faith in God and was always the first person there when someone needed help, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. His spirit of generosity and humor will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
