Jim was a veteran, retired from the National Guard, Army, and Air-force. He attended Ripley High School, TCAT Ripley, and worked for Komatsu for 25+ years before he retired in 2011. He enjoyed telling stories of his active duty times, expressing his utmost love for his country and how proud he was to serve it. His favorite activities included fishing, strolling the bottoms, and looking over the Mississippi River. He was wise in cars, money, and love. He would give the shirt off his back if it meant he was helping someone.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project because he was a veteran, or the Amputation Foundation since he was an amputee.
