James Anthony Mark Parker, lovingly known as “Jimbo,” passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 29, at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa.
Jimbo was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and from the very beginning brought laughter and light to those around him. He was known for his quick wit, his endless jokes, and his ability to make people smile even on their hardest days. Jimbo was stubborn in his own way, but that stubbornness was matched by the deep love and loyalty he had for his family and friends.
More than anything, Jimbo was proud to be a father. He loved his three children, Nadia, Skyler, and Maddie, with his whole heart. They were his world, and his love for them was undeniable.
He is survived by his mother, Jonetta Singh, and stepfather, Tiger Singh; his father, Mark Parker, and stepmother, Falon Parker; his sisters, Shonna Parker and Freedom Parker; his brother-in-law, Jesse Leach; and his nieces, Sheyanne and Jessica, who he loved dearly. He shared a special bond with his family, and his presence brought warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories to their lives.
Jimbo had a passion for going to the races, something that brought him excitement and joy. Whether he was there for the thrill, the noise, or the people, it was one of the many places he felt happiest.
Jimbo will be remembered for his humor, his strong spirit, and the love he gave so freely. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
We'll plant real trees for you in James's memory and display your contribution forever.
