Jacqueline “Jackie” Annette Henry, was born in Dover, Delaware, on September 9, 1962, to the late Ralph and Lorraine Haith Brinkley. She departed this life on May 11, 2024.
Jackie received her education in the Capital School District and graduated from James H. Groves in Woodside, Delaware.
In her youth, Jackie attended Mt. Olive Pentecostal Church in Smyrna, Delaware and always considered this her church home.
On July, 11, 1981, Jackie was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Quentin Henry. Their marriage was dissolved; however, they continued to co-parent and remain friends.
Jackie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved entertaining and spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends. Jackie’s favorite meal was turkey, stuffing and sweet potatoes.
Jackie especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the barbeques that she had and the good times they shared.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Henry; grandparents, John and Francis Haith and Allen and Mildred Brinkley.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Quentin “Nugget” Henry, Jr., Bruchette “Bomber” Henry, Sr. and Warner “Winker” Henry, Sr., one daughter, Alliyah “Little” Henry; grandchildren, Aniyah Fordham, Warner Henry, Jr., Makaylah Henry, Daijaneek Hannah “Neek”, Bruchette “Tiny” Henry, Aliciana Santiago, Amiliana Santiago and Anelyse Santiago; one sister, Crystal Brinkley; a cousin/sister, Celena Ross; a god-sister, Tina Minus; two special nieces, Waushara Brinkley and Cherrell High; special friend, Michael Seth; a special cousin, Priscilla Gowens; best friend, Tracey Kemp; and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Jackie will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
