Jack Michael Kinney, born February 9, 1981, in San Jose, CA, passed away on December 19, 2023, in his hometown of San Jose, CA. Jack was a beloved son, brother, and father who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jack had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He loved reading, traveling, and staying active through sports and working out. He had a sharp mind and enjoyed challenging himself with puzzles and mind-boggling games. Jack had a particular passion for shrimp, chicken Parmesan, tacos, and chicken apple salad. When it came to music, he had a diverse taste, with favorite artists including Eminem, D12, 50 cent, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Nelly.
Family meant everything to Jack, and he cherished his role as a father. He adored his children, Isabella and Colby, and always encouraged them to strive for success and be positive influences in society. He was immensely proud of Isabella's intelligence and reminded her never to give up, while constantly motivating Colby to face challenges head-on and overcome them.
Jack's proudest accomplishment was contributing to the building of homeless shelters in Los Angeles, CA. He believed in treating others the way he wanted to be treated, and his compassionate efforts made a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
Jack will be remembered for his vibrant and inclusive personality. He was known for his talkative nature and had a unique ability to make everyone feel included. He brought smiles to the faces of those around him, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went.
Survived by his father Geoffrey Kinney, his mother Susan Kinney, and his siblings Jason, Lizzie, and Jalissa, Jack leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to homeless shelters or charitable organizations supporting the homeless, in honor of Jack's dedication to making a difference.
Jack Michael Kinney's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
