Israel "Pete" Lopez Rivera, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on February 25, 1961, in Puerto Rico.

Pete, as he was commonly known, resided in Philadelphia, PA, where he worked as a handyman. Known for his warm smile and gentle nature, Pete was cherished by all who knew him. He had a special way of bringing laughter and joy into the lives of others.

Pete's proudest accomplishment and greatest source of happiness were his children. He loved them unconditionally, often saying, "I love my children like the eyes on my face." In addition to his children, Pete leaves behind 18 adoring grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Pete was a devout Catholic and found solace in his religious beliefs throughout his life. He believed in the power of faith and the importance of family. Pete was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary B Rivera, and their love was a source of strength and support for both of them.

Although Pete is no longer with us, his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His loving and kind-hearted spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
