Isabelle Joan Bridges, affectionately known as Belle, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on August 20, 1934, in Barford (McKague).

Throughout her life, Isabelle enjoyed various hobbies such as cross-stitching, bingo, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and playing cards with her beloved grandchildren. She found great pleasure in watching TV shows like Wheel of Fortune and classic sitcoms like Three's Company and The Jeffersons. Isabelle also had a passion for sports and could often be found cheering on her favorite teams in curling and Rough Riders football.

Professionally, Isabelle was a dedicated care aide, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for. On July 23, 1953, she married Lawrence Bridges, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Isabelle was a devoted mother to her five children, Lois Rowell (Guy Lavergne), Ken Bridges, Don Bridges (Terri), and Karen MacDonald. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her five grandchildren, Andrea Hart (Dave), Aaren Bridges (Brennan Pitchford), Amber Bridges (Gabe Samuel), Matthew MacDonald, and Jared MacDonald. Isabelle also had the joy of being a great grandmother to Daphne Bridges and Otto Bridges.

Isabelle will be remembered for her warm and loving personality. She was well-liked by her coworkers, known for her huge stubborn heart, and had an incredible sense of humor. She would do anything for her family, always putting their needs ahead of her own.

Isabelle Joan Bridges leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence(1985) son Ron(1996) and son-in-law Eric Rowell(2013). May she rest in peace.
